As part of the config, it would be nice to have an email address that users could simply email to create a support ticket. ie. emailing email@example.com
Emailing this address, causes a general request ticket to be filed in our installation - pa45.mlworkorders.com
A new generic request type is then created, along with the current technology and maintenance types. This cue comes up for administrators to sort and assign daily upon logging in.
The need for this comes from users who may have a machine down, but have access to email through a mobile device. Allowing them to email directly from a mobile phone does create a ticket within the work order system --- and starts the support process off earlier than having another user put in the ticket for them or not putting one in at all.
